ICICI bank is first Private Bank, Not first Service provider I opened my first private bank saving account with ICICI but was not aware about the policy of minimum balance maintenance further none of employee inform me about this policy of bank. after a few months I was charged heavily and without informing me or without any warning or reminder which was somewhat annoying. due to this I lost my hard earned money in the hand of cheaters.
when I reached to authorities about the wrong charges and explain them all about my situation, they clearly refused to do anything form me.
I do not like this policy of minimum balance maintenance in your account, when all government sector banks doesn`t have such kind of policies. only thing where government sector bank is lacking is their services are not as competitive, might there is also such types of policies and high charges as these private banks bound money of customer and make their profits.
I do not know whether it was case with me only and what is present situation of the bank as after my bitter experience with bank service I never contacted them and closed my account there. But one thing is sure, less aware person or belonging to village about the technicality, many customers will be losing their hard earned money.
