I opened salary account with icici. they forcefully opened demat account even though I told not to open. I never thought demat account exist for my account. All of a sudden I got a bill for demat account. When I called customer care those people are telling we gave demat account as complimentary and to close that I have to visit icici branch itself.
To open the account without any need they will open now to close they ask us to go to branches which is time consuming. Even initially while opening salary account they told all atm transactions will be free. Now its not. Icici is not as before. All other competitive banks are giving good offers and privileges. Dont go for it
