Because of my profession, people ask me for easy sources of finance and for them I have to gather information from here and there.
Recently I saw an advertisement of ICICI Bank in Economic Times ’’Unsecured loan upto Rs.25 Lakhs’’. For enquiry call to a toll free number (i forgot), or sms ’’SBL’’ to 646’’.
I tried the toll free number many a times. Its not working.
I dont have an airtel sim so could not sms to 646. Asked a relative to do so. She did. No reply till date.
Made an enquiry to the nearest branch. The concerned officer replied that they did not have any such information. I showed him the advertisement. He replied - ’’Ye sab kisi ko nahi milata’’.
I dont know whether anybody could avail such loan from ICICI Bank or not. Why do they publish such advertisements? This creates negative publicity.
