This bank is nothing less than a hell. I dont know why people do transacting with these - ing b**tards.
Everything from A to Z smells foul when you do banking with these.
My association with this bank started when I got their account along with the joining Kit from my company, 8 months ago. The Branch was Sholinganallur Branch of ICICI.
It took 1 month and 15 days to make this account active. After 1 month, when it was time for a salary credit, there was no other option than to wait till the account became active.
This was just the beginning of the story. After 1 month, I tried the internet userid and password I got from the welcome kit, but it showed "userid was expired".
Another 2 months, I was battling for the Userid. when this came again there was trouble. The Internet transaction password was not accepted.
I cant remember those days, when for each transaction I had to run for a nearest bank branch.
A few days back, I tried to fill my Airtel mobile recharge account through my ICICI net banking for Rs. 333.00. It was never credited to my airtel account.
When I called Airtel, they said the error was from the banking side. But ICICI bank Customercare tells that the money was passed to Airtel.
Calling the customer care is another headache.
For each option in VRS, the system doesnt give sufficient time for the user to give input. Once you enter the VRS, it takes atleast 3 minutes to find the required help option. If you opt for direct talk to customer Executive, you have to wait for 5 minutes, but no guarantee here. When the user is entering the debit card number, most often there is error, and you have to disconnect and try again.
The ATM service also sucks. I have lost 4000 Rs when transacting with the ATM.
I withdrew 4000 Rs from the ATM at Nandanam, but there was an Error message "Sorry Unable to process Request". I got back the card, and left, but the 4000 Rs was deducted from my Account. I was travelling, and could not go through the "Long Process" of Calling Customer Care. I went to a nearby branch(Kilpauk), and informed after 4 days. They replied that they cant do anything on this, as I have crossed the max reporting time period of 3 days.
If possible dont try to bank with these arrogant set of cheaters.
