12 years back I owned saving account bearing number 016901504466. Due to official migration was unable to use this account. Since last 3 months continously there was harassment by receiving calls from down trodden of ICICI unworthy call centres.
They pressurized either to deactivate the account but should step in to the nearest branch bank. I went to the bank for deactivation of the savings account. For this they obtained aadhaar photostat copy duly signed by me. I clearly inquired is it mandatory to furnish the documents for deactivation. They said, yes it is mandatory to submit the documents. They obtained the details of the present bank relationship. When I inquired about this they told me after closing the account the balance amount will be transfered to the account which Iam owning. By trust of their statement I abided. To my astonishment the next day a guy 8073206995 appeared in my residence stating as he is from ICICI bank. He stated KYC has to be done, I told him for closure of account why kyc required ? He said For activation of account a cheque of 50000 needed. I said I don’t want to have relationship with your bank. He created such a ruckus. The CEO of ICICI Kocchar was a frauduster, likewise all staffs are filled with 420s. He told he will see that I pay the penalty the minimum balance of Rs 25000. Such a barbaric bank they have hired goondas with tie. Beware of this bank don’t get fooled by sweet talks.
