I shifted from Dubai to Australia and wanted to change my address of NRI account I had with ICICI. So I downloaded the form and did all the bullshit filling up and send it to mumbai NRI cell. After a month they send me back the same packe which I send to them to my Australian address (note that) saying that they don’t recognise my address proof and there fore cannot change the address in the system..
In between they charged me for my ATM card which I never use...Money is not an issue here...its the nuisancce they create charging each and everything where citibankand few other banks offers these services free of charge...
I also held a Dmat account with them which I stopped operating after this PAN no. requirement came in. I send a letter to the same dick heads asking to close my dmat account and they send me a beautifully drafted reply asking me to send a letter to other address which they could’ve done form there it self..
These idiots or beurocratic baffoons sitting there in ICICI doesn’t understand we NRI’s....
