It does not even deserve 1 star!
Service is bad, their agents want to sign up as many peole as they can, In fact when you join
a company their agents are the first one to show up to sign you up for your salary account. But
the fact is that they( ICICI Bank) do not have enough infrastructure / backend support / depth of operational and is more like a PSU rather than a 21st century bank.
if you are just using the account for depositing your salary and using the ATM for debiting money
then no problem, but if you ever need to visit their branch then be ready to sweat it out.
Their policies too are very customer "un"friendly whereever the money is involved.
Call center sucks - you need to wait for atleast 5-10( many a times even more - I have at times waited 15 mins ultimately hanging up) mins wasting your money! on tel bill and even then
there is no assurance that your problem will be resolved. If it works it works like a charm( which is anyways rare) or they mostly try your patience. you enter the info. asked by the IVR system and once again when the agent gets the call he will ask you the same info. - so frustrating( and wasting your money on tel. bill!)
Never visit their branch! if you have to then take lots of patience with you. they have no SLA( service level agreements) and do not specify how much time will it take to do certain thing!( no Time bounds on process end to end times!) what you hear is we are processing it and will give you a call when it is done. They never call you back but always lie that they will call you to update you the status of your request after you submit the application. Their attitude is very lethargic, like the much despised government offices.
what more to write - use it only if you need to use ATM, and internet banking since they have installed many ATMs arnd. But be ready to sweat it out if something goes wrong.
