Hello guys, I want to share a horrible incident that has completely wiped out my trust from the ICICI bank.
I had opened a salary account in Jaipur which was through my employer. I used that account for about 2 years but when I shifted from Jaipur to Lucknow due to a job switch, I came out being disgusted by the fact that I was not able to use the same account without glitches. When me salarygot credited, almost 8000₹ were automatically deducted from my account. When I complained, the bank termed it alright sbecause I was using salary account and when I switch it, it first turns into a savings account and therefore every time my balance was below the minimum account balance to be maintained i.e. 10000 ( for ICICI savings account) , I would have to pay charges for the entire two years of usage. That was disgusting. The bank demanded charges which were amounting up to 21000₹.
The deputy manager of the branch from which my Lucknow’s employer operated, told me that whether I like it or not, 13000₹ more will be deducted the next time. He insisted to close the account and begin with a fresh one.
I closed my account but vowed to not open the account in any ICICI bank branch ever again. I asked my employer if it was possible to use any different bank account for salary payment to which my employer agreed on few terms and conditions. And now, I can happily say good bye to ICICI bank for ever.
