I have been banking with ICICI Bank with past 10 years.. for the past few years ICICI bank introduced customer unfriendly in the name of technology. One of the biggest irritant is asking for one time password for any change in customer information for fast two weeks I had to enter atleast 10 times of one time password (OTP) due to change in browser , change in IP address of my internet connection ..
If I use Internet explorer Internet banking works fine, I started using chrome browser.. it asked OTP
Tried logging to infinity using Android mobile.. it randomly ask OTP .. GOD Only Knows when it will ask.. when it will not ask..
change the service provider (Airtel , Bsnl) .. it will ask for OTP
If u go abroad, you forget using ICICI bank internet banking .. as it asks for OTP
Another issue is same mobile cant be used for more than two accounts ..
I have two a/c (one single, one joint with my wife) with ICICI, same mobile number cant be used for both accounts.. I cant be carrying two mobiles always with me. Due to this only I had closed one account with them. In branch, they introduced age old token system and visiting their branch on Saturday morning will end up spending 1/2 a day in the branch only .. there are hardly 3 members of ICICI staff to handle 50 people at any point of time, please cross check @ HRBR layout , Bangalore.
Due to unexpected quality level only, I am maintaining two more bank accounts (HDFC & IndusInd) for safety purpose.
