ICICI .. ’’ Golden Trap ...NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF CRAP !!’’
I have witnessed a very close friend of mine being harassed beyond the threads of humanity by the bank ... and was totally dumbstruck about the fact that a bank with such a big name can do something like that!!
My friend had taken a loan and had bought a bike and was supposed to pay a sum of around 2.5 thousand - 3.5 thousand per month as installment. Now this particular month towards the end of the installment payment time ... he had taken ill and had to be hospitalised. Now in all the chaos ... the payment of 3 grands was somewhat forgotten .... error ...indeed ... no doubting the fact ..... there were just 2 elderly people at home with their son hospitalised. Now first a phone comes in from the bank regarding the payment but the elderly people tell them that they didnt know anything about the details of the loan and they would ask their son about it...as he had to be hospitalised.
The bank people started threatening all kinds of things on the phone.... so much so that the very next day morning before they got a chance to meet their son and convey the message ... unsocial elements barged into the house ... started using filthy language to those poor senior citizens ...
They tried to explain the ’’GUNDAS’’ about the situation but they started threatening them .... and asked them to make the payments or else....
They quickly made the payments as soon as humanely possible for them .... but this was nothing but plain harrassment.....
I KNOW AT THE BOTTOM... IT WAS THEIR FAULT ... THEY WERE THE ONES WHO DID NOT PAY IN TIME .... BUT DUDE !! THERE IS A PROCESS FOR EVERYTHING ... AND ABOVE ALL THERE IS A CONDUCT .... WHERE HUMANITY SHOULD BE GIVEN A LITTLE PREFERENCE...... I MEAN IT WAS A SITUATION THEY WERE FACING ...
I DONT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD THINK THE BANK WAS RIGHT IN DOING SO ... BUT I PERSONALLY FEEL THAT IF THIS IS THEIR ’’ PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE ’’ THEY BOAST OF SO MUCH ... THEY SHOULD BE DRIVEN OUT OF BUSINESS...OR ATLEAST OUT OF INDIA WHERE HUMANITY STILL CARRIES A LITTLE WEIGHT ...
