Well, ICICI to say, is a very very useful bank in terms of outreach as in the number of ATMs and the facilties offered as in Net banking, Telebanking and all. And I guess thats why my friends and I opted to open an account at ICICI.
It seemed nice initially as their agent had come to us and completed all the procedures and everything was fine.But for some reason I had to go to the branch and thats where I lost all my impression.
These people havent heard of a concept called consumer friendliness. A thing that Ive noticed that the more cash you have stashed up in their account, the more they give you attention. For a student lie me who operates a maximum of 5000-7000 rs a month, I could tell you the atention is very por. I am not demanding anything. But at least when we approach a staff he should have the courtesy to listen to us rather than saying a plain I dont know or thats not my department and go there and you might find someone
I guess that they complacent about the finacial status and must have acquired this attitude that I dont care even if I dont have your measly account
Recently I went to the branch and sayt in front of a customer care executive at the may I help you? desk and the fellow saw me and hes still chatting on the phone about some party and the dishes that he had last week. The funniest part is that this fellow is continuing on with no intentions whatsoever to stop. I interrupted twice and its at the third time that the fellow with a huge frown kept the phone and attended me. Now thats customer friendliness, aint it?
Anyways, ICICI as a bank is useful and so we still continue with it. Kya kare!
