For All who are victim to ICICI credit card trap and others too,
Please close the outstanding amount as early as possible. Cancel the credit cards. Let existing Personal and Housing loan be there, slowly clear that too. If you have salary or savings account with ICICI, Please change it to SBI or any other non-private banks.
Let this message pass to all your friends. As Indian citizen, Let us join hands , so that this cheating bank will get lost from Bank sector.
Reasons are as follows
- No seperate counters for Credit card related queries in any branches
2.No Reminders (Atlease automated email reminders) means to say that , they expect late fee and bad credit history from customer rather than good service.
3.Will beg the customer before they issue credit card. Make the customer to beg after they issue credit card
4.no 24 Hr customer service have to pay more telephonebills as wait time to get customer representative in line is going up day to day.Expecially for credit card queries.
5.Irritating the customers with frequent phone calls to request the customer to apply for other ICICI products (repeatedly calling, even if customer tells that , he or she is not interested in the first call itself), instead why cant they call frequently to remind customer to pay min due in time.(Citi bank customer care used to remind me via calls even 10 days before the due date.
5.Blocking the salary (amount will show as minus value) for credit card defaulters (for customers who failed to pay minimum due for 2 consecutive months)......then why do they add up with interest charges and late fee even after blocking salary account.
Readers, you will not get time to read if I post the entire bad experience that I had with ICICI credit card..........
Luckily I did not apply for home and personal loans from this bank
