I have been using ICICI credit card since 2005 and pretty happy so far.
They truly have 24 hours customer service. yes phone lines are busy at prime time, and I had to wait for couple of minutes - but... thats expected. I could easily avoid calling them during peak hours unless I had to.
I also had a fraud transaction on my card, but the amount was returned in full after fraud was proved by the cops. the credit perhaps goes to Mumbai Cyber Cell - but ICICI co-operated.
Two things I hate about the card...
very low reward points - actually the points go to I mint and nothing is cheap there.
very high charges - but thats not unexpected.
A few things I do often:
ALWAYS pay the full amount before due date. avoid cheques, but if must deposit it 3 working days before the due date.
if I dont have enough money to pay full - pay the minimum amount. failing to pay charges A LOT... sometime balance transfer from another card is better option.
check the statements online often. once a week or more frequently - takes no more than 5 mins... but fraud transaction (if any) can caught ad reported before its too late.
create the 3D password for online transactions. make it as random as possible.
DESTROY the CVV number from back of the card after remembering it.
put pre-set limit - takes 24 hours to come into effect.
use authentic sites for online transactions.

i am thinking about trying HDFC Plat Chip card - it seems to be a bit more secured...
