I am using this card ending with 1004 from icici bank from more than 6 months and making payments on time.... minimum due along with emi.
My credit limit is 40000 and the total amount due is 15000. So the remaining credit limit is 25000. I felt very bad and it is very disappointing when my transaction got failed. I called up customer service and spoke to Mr Mohammad Anwar, he said your magnetic strip might be spoiled so he asked me to issue a new card. I told him that it has been just 6-8 months I am using this card and how can it be spoiled. Then I again tried to swipe it but got same problem. I called customer support and they said that you are making minimum due each month so your transaction cannot be completed. I said I am left with 25000 credit limit. They said you need to make full payment in case you want to use it.
Now tell me guyz that what the use of a credit card if I cannot even use my full limit. Bank only provides to make minimum due option for customers. I am using Citibank card, Standard chartered card but never ever got this problem.
Please beware. I will be making full payment of this card and get this cancelled....
I am feeling very disappointed that I applied credit card from ICICI bank...
Very poor customer service... I also spoke to a female supervisor but she was not supportive at all....
