Its been 2 weeks since ICICI Lombard accepted my payment towards motor Insurance renewal but despite multiple followups, they still havent bothered to provide me a copy of the insurance renewal document.
Hence due to the extremely callous attitude of ICICI Lombards Customer Support (wonder how they can call it support when all they do is give you promises which they never deliver) despite paying up for my insurance renewal in time, I am regularly at the risk of being fined by the traffic police.
I have sent 8 e-mails and made over 10 calls to their call center. After daily follow-up, finally on July 4th 2008, one of their executive (Deepak Kumar) sent me a mail promising to deliver soft copy of the insurance document within 24 hours. However my relief was shortlived as its been 4 days since then and still I dont have the document. To top it, today Deepak Kumar had the audacity to send me another mail stating the following "policy number is not valid we request you to provide us with the correct policy number and payment details to process your request further".
I cant understand whether these people are just morons or that they dont have even the basic processes in place. Everytime I call up their call center, I am assured that everything will be sorted out in half an hour. This has been happening regularly for the past 2 weeks. I am fed up with such horrible behavior. They dont even know the basics of customer care. This kind of behavior is extremely unacceptable and least expected of a company like ICICI. I am sorry to say this but THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION I HAVE EVER INTERACTED WITH. IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND AVOID ICICILOMBARD LIKE PLAGUE.
