Bought an health Insurance for my mother in March 2007, through ICICI Lombard. Due to internet error, 2 policies were generated. I bought this this though interest free emis using ICICI credit card. Noticing the error few minutes after transaction, I called up the call center. They canceled one policy promptly. However they continued to charge me for both policies. They shifted the blame to ICICI Cards. I have followed up for the last 18 months with both ICICI Cards and ICICI Lombard.
I have stopped using the card and also have stopped payment to cancelled 2nd policy. ICICI cards have gone to the extreme of sending collection agents to home, after I provided proof of wrong billing ( which ICICI complaint center at hyderabad has accepted as mistake) , the agents went back. It dint stop there, without any notice they withdrew( correct word it stole) my money without my knowledge. I told them I will go to court and sent a mail to the Chairman, they promplty put back the money. Problem has not ended there, ICICI Cards continues to bill me for the policy which does not exist and has been telling me they will look into it, a senior member of the bank continues to "look", while the call center "calls" continues.... I have withdrawn all money from the bank least they "STEAL" it again.
