I am an user of ICICIDirect for the past 3 years and in most of the crucial times the site failed to deliver.
when the market crashes, this icicidirect also crashes along with it.
we cant buy/sell any shares at that time to buy shares at lower prices.
and since the market crash last week, I tried buying couple of shares but couldn’t buy even a single share due to this bad performance of ICICIDirect. and most of the shares that I intended to buy were up by 20%. Huge loss for me.
Dont trust this ICICIDirect.
Seems there are much better brokers like reliance money, HDFC , Kotak etc.
There are some good features that this site provides but it doesn’t do what its supposed to do.
Event the brokerage charges are the highest I heard of at 0.75%
Planning to switch to another broker and done recommend this to any users who wish to open a trading/demat account.
