Despite maintaining a respectable portfolio the behavior in icicidirect branch was very poor.
They seem to just want to make people go back and forth. For a proof of address, I had my ration card which is perfectly acceptable. I was told that they "prefer" a bank statement.
Upon able to point out poi/poa stipulations and raising my voice, the staff quickly back tracked.What will people who are not so clear or knowledgeable do? They will only go back and forth and get frustrated.
But I should say that icicidirect has been consistent in such behavior over the years.
