Few days back I had to register my mobile number in my Aadhar card so, I went to the nearest Aadhart Centre from my place. After a series of enquiries I got to know that the Aadhar correction process is going on in the IDBI bank at Entally Kolkatta.
So I pulled up my sucks and went to the bank hastily.
After reaching the bank I came to know that in a day they are taking only 15 persons and in order to to include the name within 15 people come at 4am and stand in a que. This is the most draconian and negative vibes of Sashayed and irresponsibility of the Govt, however I am specifically writing not about the Addhar enrollment but how IDBI bank performs.
The same day at 8pm, I received a message that IDBI bank is offering a credit card at very nominal rates to the employeed people. As I dint have credit cards, so I applied online for IDBI bank.
I fulfilled all the requruements the bank required, so I submitted the form, and received a message that my credit card was has been approved and kyc process will be done the next day and I have to go to the nearest branch of the bank to do so.
As I was supposed to go for my Aadhar correction in the same banks so, I thought I would do the verification also at a time.
I went to bank at 4.30 A.m , no one had come at that time, I stand in the que till 10Am and the branch resumed at that time. As my name was in the 5 no. So I thought to complete the verification first.
I met the manager, who is. Young guy. Without listening to me, he said we won't allow to sit the customers inside the bank , you go and stand in a que outside. You will be called when your number comes.
Then I said him that your bank has approved the credit card for me and I need to do kyc verification.
He even didn't gave heed to my words and I gave him the application number provided by IDBI bank.
He crushed the paper and threw in the dustbin and said, we do not offer credit card, specially I will not offer you, get outside of the bank.
I was really shocked.
The main profit making sector of the bank is due to it's loan releasing features. Even after complying all the legalities, I was humiliated.
IDBI offers credit at first And on getting approved their own branch manager criticises the customer.what kinds of functional ethics is this. Customers are treated as god by other banks,
IDBI has the worst policy towards the customer, anyone thinking to open a saving or current account in the bank should opt for some other banks but not IDBI
