Ive not done the course with Idea, but had registered for it. They never gave me a commitment on start date of the course. Different people give different dates, and they are not at all consistent with their information.
They were extremely hospitable when I was deciding on whether to sign up or not. The moment I gave the registration amount everything changed. ?Not even a courtesy call saying that the course is going to start on a particular date, or it has been postponed, nothing. I had to call them about 10 times, before I got the date of commencement. After this, the course got postponed 3 times over a period of 3 months, and eventually I lost interest.
I have asked for a refund which they have refused. They dont even want to accept that its a mistake from their side, and that they did not stick to their commitments. I have not received even a single apology, or a good word of understanding from any of their coordinators or staff. When asked for a reason for postponement, they say that someone in the office was not well, or someone who had to call me went to her native. Its totally unprofessional to give such reasons to customers or students. It gives the impression that they do not have proper organization, and that the students suffer if a random person in their office falls ill.
Am planning to go to the consumer court to get a refund of my fees. I DO NOT recommend this course from this institute to anyone. The total fees for the course is 38985, and I had paid the reg fees which was 14985. I am regretting the decision of even thinking of doing this course now!
