No idea at all

I am an idea postpaid customer for the last three years in Mumbai circle. I switched from airtel to idea due to the frequent call drops and network cong..


At first everything works great, dedicated customer support officer, on time bills and good credit limit. Now I can tell that this is one of the worst customer centric organization.




  1. Call center




if you call up "12345" , wait for at least five minutes to stop all the ads.Now the biggest attraction "you will be charged for calling the customer care , now 50 paisa for three minutes" .I didn’t understand the meaning of toll free number.


The toll free number is a joke, that you won’t get any service except some caller tune downloads and the some information regarding the infamous "net setter air card"


2) Website


If you want change any details regarding your address, their horrible website doesn’t have any such facilities. Only grace is I can pay bills via net bank facility if there payment clearance system works!!!


3) Network


There are lot of call drops are also there, Many places have very low coverage.


Please stay away from idea service, let them learn the art of customer service from citybank. Nowadays the mobile outlets are like "ration shops ", "sell and forget attitude is every ware.


I hope that the operator switching facility should implement first to stop exploitation of the customers.
