An Idea invented to con customers

Started using Idea last year. They offered a pretty cool startup pack and I got carried away by that and their commercials. Ever since I got it, I had spent atleast 100 Rs on customer care calls.


From day one it started. There were deductions for reasons unknown both to me and the customer care ppl. Some plan will get auto subscribed. When asked to unsubscribe they will ask you to use it for a month since it is already subscribed. The reason behind this is at the end of 1 month we wont be keeping track of it and the plan will get auto renewed.


Same case with the free sms and 2g plans. The mobile will show deduction but it will not be debited. The reason is even after expiry we will continue using it unaware of the real deduction. Also these guys charge for free internet while roaming which no other operator does.


When I lost my sim and wen asked for the new one, they said it cant be done coz the number was wrongly registered under someone else’s name. How could that even happen? And the worst part is none of their customer care executives speak proper English.


I got fed up of it and now am happy with some other network. Idea should start concentrating on their customers than concentrating on their commercials. Summing up together what Idea does is just a con job. Be smart.
