I have been using Idea Cellular services for the past 5 years. During the tenure, I have not experienced any untoward incident. Billing was OK, promotionals were well communicated and grievance redressal was prompt & in right perspective. Generally with the other such services either the customer care executives are indifferent or seem too preoccupied to attend to the clients concerns.
This particular aspect was not experienced while interacting with Idea personnel. Although Idea representatives do not come across as someone who is enthusiastic, very polite or charming, but they do not exuberate any negativity as such.
In the similar lines, there had been no discrepency in billing. Despite the fact that I have been using a prepaid connection, I can vouch that the charges were at par with the communications by the company representative/promotionals flashed by the company from time to time.
Though I am unable to recall anything very special or value added, I would definitely say that it was not a bad idea after all.
