I fail to understand as to how an Idea can change someones life. Isnt planning, execution, implementation important?
I have been an Airtel subscriber for 5+ years now. I have my own bad experiences with Airtel but do not wish to write about all that as others MS members have done enough justice with that. I have been extremely bugged with Ideas tele-sales executives. I have been getting calls on my Airtel number, almost daily, by an executive offering me a better package than what I already have. Despite me replying in the negative, I am asked about my normal monthly usage, the kind of services that I use most (Local Calls, SMS, STD etc.) and sometimes to buy another connection over and above the existing Airtel one that I have. I am not sure why would an existing cell phone user switch vendors for no reason.
I have enough feedback to support my notion of not switching to Idea Cellular. The worst part is that the tele-sales executive would go on trying to sell me something that I have no need of. I hate to be impolite to anyone, but hanging up is the only option that suits. The manner in which these DSAs talk makes me feel as if they are talking at gun point. Can nothing be done to stop these guys from calling me up regualrly. For that matter, its not just Idea and not just me. Most of the banks have also let their DSAs loose to force credit cards, personal loans, home loans and what have you, down our throats. Can we have some privacy and peace in life? Alas, India is far from that stage riht now.
