I am an idea user since last 9 years. My experience is not at all good with this service provider. Firstly, the network of idea is very bad. At a few places you don’t even have a single line showing network. Like when you are travelling then at some places yo won’t be able to make a call. Even inside my house the network quality is very bad. I can’t even make or receive a call. So when I am at home I use another sim for calling.
Secondly, the promotional calls from the company annoy you the whole day. The very first call which I get is mostly the promotional call from idea. Thirdly, if sometimes instead of cancelling I accidently pick up their call then they would immediately activate any service and deduct its charges from my balance. This is really annoying. Fourthly, when you call their customer care you are asked to wait for long time. And they are not very helpful. Sometimes they used to deduct your balance uselessly, and when you ask them to give it back they dont return it and talk very rudely. Fifthly, a few times I had used idea 3g internet services but again the response was very bad. It gave a very slow speed even slower than 2 g. So I dont rely on this for my internet needs. Sixthly, they dont provide any extra services as jio and airtel provide.
So, friends I would never recommend you to go with the idea mobile operator.
