I had taken IDEA connection in the month of March ’10 as my old service provider was literally looting me for the last 3.5 years. However what I did realize after taking IDEA is that how easy these blokes can take customers for a ride and the so called regulator (TRAI) is hand in glove helping these unscrupulous chaps. My problem started when I traveled from Chennai to Pondicherry as soon as I got the new connection , after crossing Mahabalipuram ( 50 Km) from Chennai I have no idea where IDEA signals were.
While my old service provider signal was in full strength , I still thought may be the problem was with my handset , ever since I changed my IDEA sim to another handset and till date I have traveled to Pondicherry 5 times all these trips I had the same experience. One can expect weak signals on highways but not a "NO SIGNAL" for 60 Kms that too in a high way with heavy traffic. This has not only affected my business but also the faith in "adithya Birla Group"
I am contemplating legal action against the company under appropriate sections with TRAI as one of the respondents. ( partners in Crime!)
Anybody having a similar experience ? Lets team up.
