Hi, I have just finished my MBA and have been picked up from the campus in a big multinational company as a management trainee. I have my first posting in Hyderabad. I had always believed that cell phones made you any time any where accessible and were a big invasion to privacy and hence had not kept a cell phone till Ii came to hyd but certain professional commitments made it necessary for me to go for a cell connection.
Now I had options between Airtel, Hutch, Idea BSNL and Reliance. Quite a handful for a new user like me. I went out in the market to get a new prepaid connection and I must confess I was swept away with the new offers from idea the best being the 5 months free incoming offer for just 650 odd bucks. Just imagine I could stay connected for the next 5 months. Then I could talk to all my friends in AP for as low as 1 rupee per minute! Damn neat man.
And the final decision making factor was my belief to always go for the second best product in a competitive market like telecom (Idea is second in AP after Airtel). Atleast they try to reach the top slot. And its working people, the service is amazing , I get the signals even inside my cubicle which is almost like a bank vault. But what I like most is the absolutely clear sound I get when I talk to my girlfriend in delhi. Believe me guys its as if she is just besides me. There is a strange problem though...many of my messages get lost when I message on reliance and even the voice clarity is not that good with reliance but all in all I am very happy with all what I got
