The Plot: It is a story about a woman who gets cheated by a man, as he controls her husband’s company and then sells it off, leaving her no money.
Tracy goes out one day to kill the person who cheated her mother, but he puts her in jail saying that she tried to steal his art work. She does not manage to kill him, however.Tracy somehow gets even after a long struggle with all the people who cheated on them.
The woman is put in jail for no fault of hers. Tracy Whitney then hopes to get revenge on her enemies someday. She hopes for a better tomorrow, as the title of the book suggests. Coming from the stable of Sidney Sheldon, this book is truly worth reading. After reading this fully, I felt the story plot had some similarity to the Hindi film, Aradhana. The girl finally takes revenge on all those who have harassed her.
With the help of the jailer and his daughter, she is given a new job at his home and she begins life afresh. She does this by creating a fake bank account and a fake identity only to be later revealed to the villains in the story. A daring Tracy Whitney carries out a number of major burglaries and finally manages to become extremely rich, then find the villains and kill them. She thus fulfills her dreams one after the other. There is suspense at the nook and corner of every chapter and waits to be discovered.
The characters:
Tracy Whitney; her mother (dont remember her name now), the villains.

I have become a fan of Sidney Sheldon after reading 2-3 books of his. They are really good or "unputdownable" as most readers say, but it takes a lot of time to read for slow readers (Around 6-7 days).
