I am surprised that many people have a good opinion about this absolutely useless machine. Probably they are the company workers.
Since I bought this machine in March’07, I am passing through the weird chains of problems. At this moment I still am regretting my decision of buying this machine having so many quality defects:
1. It creates big noise
2. It vibrates at such an extent that the machine moves about 1 foot away by the time it finishes drying
3. The clothes do not get dried even 5% most of the time
4. It takes 2 hours for a normal load of clothes
Topping up with a worst customer service, the Pune Service center of IFB is an another glittering flag of IFB. Just useless people, who do not understand the seriosness of the problem. They are rich with excuses then solutions. Everytime I call them, I need to remind them at-least 3 times before they visit my house for repair. And the story starts from here. In all normal cases, they can not repair in one visit. They have a common excuse "We will talk to our supervisor, and get back to you’.
1. The ’Get back to you’ word is absolutely not relevant. They never will get back to you. After adding lot of frustration, you ’Call back to them’ to know what happens.
2. The result of your call: ’Sir is busy in meeting’. This Dutta is busy in meetings more then any meaningful work he does, looks like.
Kudos to those who still dare to use this machine and keep their motivations high by fooling themselves with words like ’They are happy.’. I have been using other washing machines earlier, but never had so many problems within 1st year.This is surely a ’Rastey ka maal - Sastey mein’ category machine.
