Have been using this for the past year and half. Bought as a replacement for our decade old IFB Executive Plus. The machine is good functionally. Washing programs offered is helpful. Helps you choose the type of wash cycle depending on the clothes.
However, the accessories you buy from their "Authorised Sales/Service" centers are of very poor quality. Especially the stand and cover. Stand gets rusted in no time. Ours has already developed cracks. And the cover didn’t even last 6 months. Mind you, these are all bought from their authorised centers paying premium prices.
Over this, the service personnel who visit will unnecessarily sell you consumables at ridiculous prices. Even though, Executive VX model has a built in water softner, and given the fact that in our locality, we do not get hard water, still they managed to sell me a water softner attachment for Rs.1, 800/- and baking soda packets for Rs.960/-! I accept, I was dumb in buying into their marketing tactics. Next time, I won’t fall prey.
