I bought a fully automatic IFB washing machine (modelSenator 6 Kg) in October 2008. In just four months of ownership of the machine, I have faced problems twice. The first time, in the month of purchase itselfand second time in the month of February 2009.
The first problem, which was nota major problem, took around two weeks to be resolved (and that too called for repeated calls to the customer service centre).
The second problem that is still unresolved is a major one and I am just not able to use the washing machine at all. It’s been fourteen days that I filed a complaint with IFB and in spite of following up with the customer service center executive sand the IFB technician on a daily basis, the problem remains as it is.
I was surprised to see innumerable complaints regarding washing-machine-a17393/page/1and the reality that IFB dares to boast of its market leadership. It seems that all IFB focuses on is selling its products and not providing effective after-sales service.
Previously, I owned a Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine and was much happier with their after-sales service. I would strongly advise not to go for an IFB product in future.
