Regaring Placement policy -As we know IGNOU provides distance education so there is very low chances of getting campus placement. But some private companies came to our study center for recruitment and selected 30 students from BCA and MCA. We had an interview session in our study center from which only 30 students were selected, then again an interview was taken at the company’s office and further 20 candidates were filtered out. They provided the job with the starting salary of Rs 12000 of which after deducting the PF and other charges we had Rs. 9965 in hand. Though this amount is very low but having just the degree of BCA will not give you a salary more that that and that also for a non experienced person.
Regarding Infrastructure of the institution - First of all I want to clarify that the study center I am talking about is in Patna(St. Xaviers High school, Gandhi Maidan). As this study center was not present in the drop down list of mouthshut so I mentioned it here. Now about the study center- 1) Classrooms were large and spacious. 2) There were little cleanliness issues. 3) No wi-fi 4) At the starting there was a water purifier provided for students but after 1-2 weeks of my admission it went out of service and never got in function again. 5) Only one classroom had the facility of projector. 6) Poor Library 7) Very Good lab facility
And lastly about the Faculty: Some of the faculties were very nice and helpful they provided us with great knowledge about our topics, they even gave us the freedom to come in the lab anytime we want to discuss our problem in the subject. They always encouraged us to go for lab sessions and do the practicals and if any doubt they were there to help us. But some faculties, though they promised to help us in the lab in case of problem and doubts but when we get to them with our problems they simply say to search on the internet for the solution(i know I will get the solution on the internet but it will take lot of time, and by the time I would be busy in finding the solution of that particular problem, I could have completed half of my assignment).
