IGNOU, is the one and only government recognized open university now a days for distance education. I am feeling very sad for not joining IGNOU for completing my BCA. I dis BCA from Punjab Technical University on Oct 2013. I find it is of no use as Punjab Technical University is not recognized by UGC. Now my degree of BCA is almost null and void. I wasted my money and time to PTU. Students of today should join IGNOU without any hasitation I say. It is recognized and you will never feel any difficulty in future as I am facing.
The drawback of IGNOU is that they give assignment a lot which are many a times difficult for students have busy schedule with their jobs. But assignment is necessary also to keep the students in touch with the syllabus during the period of whole semester.
In regard of fee structure, the fees is very genuine, no doubt in this. The poor guy can easyly pay the fees with much hindrance to his family earnings. The books always gets delivered in time. The counselling session by IGNOU is a very good approach to know their students.
At last I will give 5 stars to IGNOU for providing study options for on job and housewife students. Thank You
