Today I want to open the eyes of students over the great MCA degree of Ignou. I pursued this degree from 2011-2013. When I started this course I was not ready to believe what all is said about it. But in the first sem itself I realised that ignou does not check its papers properly. The papers are checked at the exam center itself. The ignou exam centers fail students on purpose so that they can make money through revaluation because they also check the revaluation sheets. So only papers of some of the students are checked. The rest of them are failed so that money is made through revaluation. The papers in which I was failed I filled up revaluation forms and then passed. But many of my friends didnt fill up these forms and decided to appear in the exams again. They are still pursuing this course even when the duration of this course is over.
Also this degree has no value in top notch companies like Wipro, Infosys and Tcs. I applied to Tcs and Wipro but I got a long email saying that we don’t hire correspondence graduates. Tcs does not even hire people from ignou even if they have experience. I want other people to know the truth about this university. Only "lala" companies hire people from ignou at salaries as low as 8-10 k.
