I rarely give bad reviews. I always give websites and vendors a second chance and usually condone a first mistake -- but this indiangiftsportal team is totally totally inept, and I feel obligated to warn people about them.
I placed two orders for fathers day. One was delivered incomplete (the other part of the gift went 2 days later !!)/ Re:the first part -- the flowers --(1) half the flowers were ready to wilt (2) the name of the sender was missing (my luck that it was fathers day so it wasnt difficult to guess who sent the stuff ;) ) and worst of all the second part of the gift (mithai) reached a day later ALONG WITH THE PRICE TAG !! OMG !!!! The sweets sent were of the poorest quality - not even close to the picture shown on the website and poorly packaged in a plain A4 sheet like paper. Can you believe that !!
The second order (to another recipient) went through complete but yet again poor quality of sweets and miserable appearance.
The icing on the cake is when I call customer support to complain, they say you should photograph the items and send to us to enable them to process my complaint -- in short, they are calling me a liar. And then they cross-check what I complained by calling up the recipient of the gifts. Imagine my embarrassment !! I am glad it was close family where the fiasco happened. Had I sent to clients or friends, I would have ended up as laughing stock.
And no, this is not the first time they botched up. They messed up once before for a US order too -- and because they had at that time after a year of follow-up refunded me the whole amount for the mistake, I decided to give them another chance. Never again. The other reviews here just reinforce my decision.
Unless they do some real damage-control and turn over a new leaf, they are to be avoided. And if you chose to be tempted by their fancy website, dont say you werent warned.
