I wont want to sound like Placecomm member trying to hawk the school .. ISB reviews smell like that ! or like guys who either dream up opinions about IIMs .. or hate them as a defence mechanism.
IIML is trying hard to get out of forth IIM image and in past 5 years it has taken some really long strides. I have seen the insti reinvent itself before my very own eyes and the pace of improvement never ceases to amaze me when I visited campus in later years after my graduation.
The stars are :
1. Infrastructure: Guess its the best equipped IIM. Fantastic campus, best of facilities. Amazing library and comp centre
2. Students: worthy of IIM tag. among the very best I have seen during my studies and career, in India and abroad
3. Placements: they way they used to be in hay-days. I cant say what 03 brings !
Downside:
1.Location
2.Top spot in B-school surveys needs to convert into top choice for MBA-aspirants and recruiters.
However objectively u may decide to put it, MBA game is all about brand equity. The gap between performance and perception takes time to bridge .. so ill just wish my alma mater all the best in bridging the perception gap ..
