IIPM (Indian Institute of Planning and management) had recently established its base at Hyderabad. Its a thirty years old Management Institute, which offers two courses; at Degree level and Post Graduation level each, that are BBA and MBA (both full time only). This is an autonomous Institute which got merged with an European University that is ’IMI’. IIPM is India’s Capital based , which totally has eight branches, spread across india. As it is newly established branch (Hyderabad) but still it is gearing up to stand in competition with other Educational Institutes and challenges 100% placements for their beloved students. I am in Ist year of MBA and currently in third trimester(which is Summer Internship program). At IIPM all the trimesters are full of Internal exams, assignments, projects(based on primary research as well as secondary research), Executive Communications, presentations, case studies, group discussions, web site creations, and many many more. The course content is really very tough, consisting of 17 to 20 subjects each trimester.Apart from bookish knowledge, the students also require to go through daily news papers, business magazines, current affairs etc. After joining the college, I thought that there will be no more leisure but I was wrong. I was very surprised to see the colleges conducting cultural activities such as AMAZE and AAGAMAN where other colleges were invited to participate. Not only this they do conduct seminars, as previous time there was a seminar on ’HR as a strategic partner’ and still there will be more seminars on 4ps etc...
