I work as a Equity Derivatives Research Analyst and data crunching ability with automation has become an absolute necessity in our job role. I heard about Indian Institute of Quantitative Finance(IIQF) from my colleague and decided to take up their PGPAT course.
Being new to Algo trading, I was little apprehensive about joining a Quant Trading course. However, to my pleasant surprise, the flow of the course was designed in a very lucid and structured manner, which made this complex subject matter easy to grasp. The course content was very rich and comprehensive, both in terms of theory and practical. It started by brushing-up the basics of theories, then we went on to Python Coding and finally into developing whole host of Quant strategies using Technical Analysis, Machine Learning and Statistical models. Their faculties are from the industry. Therefore, they covered all the minute aspects of automated trading strategy implementation(which is very critical for building stable systems). Such inputs could have only come from practitioners like them.
Also, we got an access to their new Jupitron platform during the course. It’s one of the best Algo trading and market analytics platform available in the country.
In short, I’m quite impressed and very much satisfied! The PGPAT course has had a huge impact on my on my ability to work around with large data and added a new dimension in understanding the dynamics of stock markets.
