Yes its true that IIT Bombay is still considered to the best engineering college in India right but its just because of its past reputation of being the college to produce great technocrats. But with time it has lost that ability and students of IIT Bombay presently are far behind the global technocrats.
But yes being a government college it has got great facilities and administrators, with great faculty. The college is also known for organizing India’s most popular college fest Mood indigo which is enough to prove the extracurricular activities of the students.
Without any doubt it has the strongest alumni network of all colleges in India. But it is because of its glorious past and currently I personally feel it is no more the same and the quality of students graduating has declined.
