Hello all. Here I am to share my views about IIT BOMBAY. It is the best college in INDIA not only for engineering but for resarch and many more things. The thing that makes it to the top is the opportunities available here.
Most of the people clear JEE and come here for study but many of them fond their inner talents and go to diverse fields like acting, dancing, resarch, dramatics, film making etc etc.
The campus is a lush green area of 550 acres. There are 16 hostels out of which two are girls hostel. There are residential quarters where all the staffs and professors live. The playground and the academic building comprise a significant amount of area. Then there are departmental buildings and the auditoriums ( there is quite many) . Now comes the interesting part of the campus. It has a beautiful lake and a hill. The views are great from the hill where you can see the whole campus.
About acads, all of the classes are air conditioned and equipped with hightech facilities such as projectors and good mic system. The whole acad building is highspeed wifi equipped. The are above 600 dynamic, talented professors working continuously. They are really helpful and you can approach them any time you feel difficulty in studies. There is a high scope of research here and IITB is always focusing more on it.
Here is the enjoyment part. There is a club of everything and you can join any club of your passion. Thats what I said earlier that most of the students find their passion and make their career. There is always going on something in the campus and if you feel bore just go and enjoy.
The campus is very much friendly and IITB students are very open-minded. The campus is ragging free and supports everyone.
Almost all of the works are done by students and thats the good part. Every student is enthusiastic and they organise some of the biggest events like MOOD INDIGO( biggest festival of asia) , TECHFEST and many more.
The placements are very good and the top companies like google, amazon, microsoft, facebook come here. If you want to make money it is the best college you will ever get in INDIA.
Personally I am very happy and enjoying my life here. It is really awesome.
