It is a very dark comedy that gets silly and little bitblood and all gangster stuff and surprises with fun but ending part is lessfunny as it nears its violent conclusion. Collin Ferrell is hit man a traineehit man who fails or screw up his first kill, a priest in church. Heaccidentally kills a young boy in the process of killing the priest. His bosshas problem with killing boy. The boss orders his partner(Brendan) to killhim. Collin himself feels remorse of killing the boy, and gets into suicidal mentality.Both Brendan andcollin are ordered by boss to stay in city called bruges, and with low profile.Boss sends both there to enjoy before collin gets killed by his partner. Collinhates the city but partner like it, anyway collin falls in love with a girlChlo. He also find a friend who is dwarf played by Jordan Prentice.
Both partners have differences, which gives story comedy aswell as tension. Because of script is dark, plot twists and strangedevelopments, the film has a sense of moral justice at its heart. I wouldsuggest watch the movie for it’s a different kind of comedy which is dark butends with shock or may be with moral. All actors played their parts brilliantlybecause of director so direction is perfect. Watch it you won’t disappoint. Atleast not I did not.
