The film is set in a time when things like ethical concerns regarding in the brutality. The story is simple but presentation is brilliant. The story goes back to 17th century. The ship meets with disaster in ocean. Then captain George pollard are driven by greed to venture out into waters. The story does play out a little in flashback as one of the survivors.
The cast of the film are Chris Hemsworth , tom holland and cillian Murphy. The 3d effect is too good and helps a lot in whale hunting as well as underwater sequence. Definitely worth watching with children, they will enjoy the the sound system and picture perfection.
