Hello friends, I want to share my experiences with this India Post service. This is a government official postal service so we can understand how slow it works, just like a snail.
I have many consignments shipped via India post including including my brother pan card. Most often we have to wait for the delivery as it takes a lot of time. But when our shipment reaches the concerning nearest hub, then too their staff keeps the important shipments and make more delay in delivering to our home.
I have in many instance, called them on the phone at their local office. But nobody cares to attend our calls. If its holiday season then forget about the delivery for a few more days.
They charge more money for their premium services which are inadequate to when compared to other couriers. Their speed post charges are very high. Sometimes their tracking does not show our consignment.
Their customer staff is not friendly and is very rude. When we reach the post office to get the package by hand then too their staff argues and ask for our valid id. Also the post man on delivering successfully on our doorstep ask for more money as tip.
So I don’t trust this India post and would not prefer them at all. Thanks.
