I made an account on IndiaMart.com to check some products. The site is good for seeing the wholesale rates of different products in the market. The customer support do not give answers readily when asked about some products. They take time and don’t reply satisfactorily as they keep on hold for long times. The most annoying part comes when some IndiaMart representatives keep on calling you to advertise about their products in which you have no interest at all. They kept calling 3-4 times a day for a week or so and then stopped when I refused to show any interest.
The sellers assosciated with IndiaMart.com are also rude. I had to work on a project which required getting some product info from IndiaMart Sellers. They were not even ready to speak and back-questioned me suspecting my call as a spam. This is the case with most of their sellers. Most of the phone numbers of the sellers were invalid. I would not recommend anyone to make an account with IndiaMart.com.
