Think before being their customer

I have my account in Indian bank since 2005, but did not used as always had kind of nagative picture in mind about their support or customer service if in case we had some kind of issue.


This became reality when I encounter a very small need about activation of my internet banking with the bank but it turned to a nightmare for me.


Last I was looking to activate my internet banking with Tihar jail branch as father was in police. Surprisingly they do not issue any kind of kit where they can register your details and you can register youe self with internet banking. What as a customer needs ti be done that we need to login half way as do not allo w to complete the registration and require to be authorise from the bank. For this we need to take the print out of the acknowledgement generated by the system. Then we need to go to bank to get it activated. In my case when I reached the bank, the assistant manager saud it can not happened here you account is here but CIF no is main branch inTilak nager, so you need to go their. Then I went their and told him the whike story. So I insteadif activating my internet banking he sent me back to my branch by tranfering the CIF no to my brance. Then I came back from Tilak nagar brance toTihar jail brance. But transferring process coyld not took place so the banking could nit be activated even after running for more than 4 hours in diffent branchs.


Whrn I complaint to manager reg the same, then he said hr can not fo any thing as it the process.
