The Outstanding Batting Line Up
The Team India has its own set of problems.. The batting is undoubtedly the best is in the world.. With a line up of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, V.V.S. Laxman among others.. one cannot say that this batting line up is OK.. no its extra ordinary ! The indian batting line up has more or less performed in all these years.. Of late the Middle order has stole the show .. with young turks like Yuvraj, Md.Kaif and Dhoni making great contribution..
The Not - So - Fast Fast Bowling
Indian Bowling has always been inconsistent.. Despite an air of fresh talent blowing... Indian bowling has been a concern.. Irfan Pathan may have been the Find of the New Millenium but then what about the others.. Zaheer Khan has been uterly inconsistent.. so has been Ajit Agarkar and Nehra.. We still dont have a genuine fast bowler.. you may say Munaf Patel.. but then its Still to early to say anything..The future looks good with Munaf , R.P and Sreeshant.. but as of now the Indian Fast bowling is not so good...
The Rejuvinated Fielding
Indian fielding has improved by leaps and bounds.. The Yuvrajs and the Kaifs and the Rainas have transformed the indian fieldind department totally.. Seems the phrase ’Catches Win Matches’ has finally got inside the head of the Team India...

yes you read thay right ’The selection committee of Team India is totally fuck*ed up’.. Why drop Anil Kumble instead of Harbhajan.. why always the Seven Batsman scheme.. if six failed.. you think the seventh is going to score a triple ton.. Morever with statements like ’Statements like We Ganguly does’nt future in our schemes for the future its just giving spice to the starved media .. Well if the guy doesnt feature in your scheme.. then just keep it behind doors.. Why just slam it infront of the media.. it just makes matters worse.. !

Sachin Tendulkar Well starting with the senior most players.. He is hailed as the the greatest batsman ever... Well his statistics surely show that..
people say that sachin is not a match winner..then why does he have the maximum number of Man of the Match awards ?
His performance has been pretty inconsistent of the late though.. He keeps coming with good knocks and then goes back to a turmoil.. Surely not the same old Sachin.. people love to love him.. people love to hate him.. no matter what they say .. he is still the most exciting player to watch when he is in form.. but its the form that he is lacking of late (or maybe very late) ..
THE QUESTION MARK Sachin’s selection has become mandatorial off late.. If you can screw Saurav because of a rough patch then even Sachin should be screwed.. With all due respect to his greatness as a batsman.. there should be no compulsion on his selection.. and the excuse that ’’Sachin lifts the spirit of others in the dressing room ’’ for his selection is horse sh*t man.. if you want to lift up the spirit of your player then take Mallika Sherawat in your team.. she will surely lift their ’spirits’ up!
Saurav Ganguly No doubt he is india finest captain.. His batting has been incinsisitent though.. but when in form he is the most stylish player of them all..
Saurav hit Team India during the England tour.. and since then it was no looking back.. He became captain later .. As far as captaincy goes .. he was one of the best.. Rahul Dravid said once ’’on a cricket side on the left there is the on-side and Saurav Ganguly’’.. Steve Waugh, Stephen Fleming - they all thought that Ganguly was an outstanding captain... His captaincy took india to the World Cup finals after a lack-lustre start.. Home win against the Aussies.. then the spectacular performance in Australia .. He was everywhere.. He was an outstanding captain.. there were a few mistakes here and there but then to err is human...
The most passionate captain ever.. His batting was not spectacular during his captaincy..
Saurav captaincy was world class no doubt... His batting during his reign was not world class... But then there have been so many instances in the past regarding people being in-charge just because of their leadership capabilities .. Patrick Vieira may not be the finest defender in Arsenal but surely he had the leadership capabilities.. heck.. he was a fantastic captain.. he’s left arsenal and just see arsenal now.. they’re in shambles
So its utter stupidness if you pay such disrespect to a great captain... the selectors could have had given saurav a little more time.. Why not have him in the team .. if you can have Gautam Gambhir then surely Saurav deserves a place in the team..
QUESTION MARK his attitude.. i’ve personally heard from people around the cricket circle in Bengal that yes saurav did have an attitude problem.. but then who does’nt.. we are all humans man!.. I seriously think that he deserves a place in the team because of his leadership skills ... and his batting aint that bad either.. the attitude excuse aint reason enough to throw him out...
Greg Chappal He was too fast to react.. It was like he just wanted to change the things the way he wanted to change and didnt care for what others had to say .. I don’t have any problems with his email though.. it is a coach’s right to inform the board abut the board about any discrepancies in the team.. so the email sent to the team was justified.. but what’s not justifies is allegations without any proofs whatsover...
He was bad in handling the media.. His middle finger became the talk of the nation.. I feel that fans have a right to do whatever they want to... a coach doesnt have the right to do what he wants to..
No doubt he is a fine coach. .the results more than show it . but its his attitude that leaves much to be desired..
QUESTION MARK Are the allegations left on Saurav correct.. Those who matter in the board dont think so.. even John Wright said that Ganguly did not skip sessions.. Ganguly never skipped sessions.. history remembers him for his wily attutide for the ’’UnderArm Incident’’... does the problem lie with greg’s attitude ~ ’WE DONT WANT NO GANGULY’ or is it that he wanted things to radicalize and say that he was the Boss around.. and not Saurav..
