India currently as a team, in a very good form, in both forms of the game.because they have performed well in recent tours.but the tour of New Zealand is entirely a different ball game.As NZ will be a tough team to defeat at home.
First the conditions in Newzealand will be tough and hostile for india. because they have always produced seamer friendly pitches for India and India had struggled there.The chill climate, which would be new for the young Indian team because they hardly play in NZ and England.so it will take more time for the team to accustom to the conditions in NZ.
History shows the India’s poor results in New Zealand .But the veteran cricketer Rahul Dravid had said that India has performed poorly not because of the hostile condition that prevails in NZ but of poor cricket they played in NZ.
This tour will really test the leadership abilities of our captain MS Dhoni, we have not seen him often how he behaves when his team loses.But the current Indian team is confident with top guns performing in tandem both in batting and bowling.As Sehwag, Gambir, Yuravaj, Dhoni are in top form.
Zaheer and Ishant can rattle any top order in the world with there near perfect fast bowling.The coach Kirsten, who as a player had performed well in NZ.So, his experience will come handy for other players as a coach.
