Cheating customers in Cancellation

I agree with all negative feedbacks posted by users on this site for IndianEagle. I am also going through the same pain of cancellation and feel cheated by IndianEagle.


I booked a ticket for my parents for the month of June travel date and had to cancel the ticket due to the COVID situation.


Please see below lists of events that happened to me and how they are literally making fraud to the customer.


Ticket cost for parents:$2060


Airline cancellation charge:~$600


Later, they did a debit transaction on my credit card with$230 as cancellation fees and told me that this amount will be included in the refund amount.


This is the place where they are making a big fraud with the customer. What is the point of charging an additional amount to the customer?


I am told every time that airline is processing the refund and due to the COVID situation they are making delays in the payment. However, when I contacted Etihad airline(prompt service in twitter) they clearly have written to me that refunds are being processed within 30 to 45 days.


They are deducting extra charges in the refund taking advantage of the COVID situation. I never recommend anyone to book your tickets to them.


Mark my word that you will have to go through immense pain of efforts and money in the event of cancellation. It is always recommended to book the ticket directly through the airline.
