So do you watch the most happening serial on SONY TV ? yes, I am talking about Indian Idol.. Do you believe Sony channel (or whoever is the sponsorer of the program) is doing favour to Indian people to hunt the talent among them.. do u really think so... ? Think again...
Sony is earning millions of money by that serial. And he is just going to pay 1 crore to one guy..not fair... let me explain you, by which way sony earns the money..
First of all.. you know, advertisement play vital role ..that u can see clearly..but there is another way, by which sony is earning lot of money..SMS business.
Sony buys a SMS credits from GSM service providers like, airtel, bsnl, idea, bpl.. at very low rates.. and sell that sms to indian public.. in what way? .. When you send one sms to sony’s numbers, it cost you one rupee..right? the same sms is bought by Sony already at 25 paise (I guess) from GSM service providers already.. so they earn 75 paise behind each sms.. and by this, they make lot of money.
Whenever people send them sms for voting.. imagine, 75 paise profit behind each sms.. when millions of sms come..I am sure, they have earned 1 crore of prize within only few weeks..
My point is.. if they earn so much.. why they don’t give 1 crore to each last 5-6 participants for their wonderful efforts.. they can..buy they don’t.. what do u think guys?
