After reading Chandni’s review, the first thought that crossed my mind was this was totally unfair.But still I watched the entire 2-Hour show.
The show was good but really long with lots of advertisements.All the top eleven also came on the show & sang songs together.An AIDS awareness song was also sung by top eleven. At the end, when the results were declared, Abhijeet was jubiliant while Amit Sana’s face became small.
Actually he was the one who really deserved to become this country’s idol.Abhijeet is good too but his singing does not reach as good as Amit Sana.
Whenever anybody was asked on the show why they liked Abhijeet, the common answer was ’’He has very cute smile’’ or ’’He looks very cute’’.Why don’t people realize that this was a talent show & not a beauty pageant.
It feels so sad that a hardworking talented person is not chosen because his competitor is ’’Cute’’. Even the Judges did’nt say or comment on this.I felt this was not really right.
Secondly, Many newspapers in our city were urging to vote to Abhijeet because he is Maharashtrian & of this state.Does it really matter where he lives or which state he is from?He is supposed to be Indian Idol.
It is really pathetic that talented do not get chosen in our country.But I believe that Amit Sana has shown his talent & he will become a big singer in future.
